And it’s a path best traveled with support and camaraderie.

In our sessions, I'll share the ups and downs of my path — not just as a coach, but as someone who’s walked a similar road — to inspire your journey.

My life’s work is dedicated to guiding you to discover and embrace your inner strengths, in both your professional and personal spheres.

I have a doctorate in psychology: I'm here to lift people up and support them in living to high potential through science and insight.

My journey has taught me valuable lessons. Initially driven by a high-achieving mindset, I realized that true success isn't just about accolades or career milestones. It's about personal growth and inner peace.

My passion is leading you toward a balanced and fulfilling life, using a blend of solution-focused coaching and practical psychological strategies. We lean into the sharp points with care and compassion.

My Qualifications

For more than 20 years, I have passionately studied Psychology, Yoga, and Eastern Philosophical Practices in relation to the human experience, health, and meaningful living. I earned a doctorate in Psychology from The University of Virginia, where I studied physical and mental well-being through a biopsychosocial lens - a model that considers the entirety of human life including the interplay of genetics, neurobiology, physical health, psychology (cognition, emotions, behavior, attachment), and social elements such as support systems and the surrounding environment.  This dynamic perspective allows for understanding the shared qualities of being human while honoring the uniqueness of each one of us. This training set me on a path toward a long career dedicated to supporting folks to live well under stress and engage it as a catalyst for growth throughout their lives. I work with adults, families/couples, and professionals in various workplace settings.

My coaching style is educational in nature using storytelling, science-informed lessons, and direct experience to support self-understanding and freedom from limiting conditions. No small talk - we are aiming for optimizing potential and engagement with life. Expect insight-provoking conversations that reveal lifelong patterns, tools for creating sustainable life rituals, and solutions that create empowerment and fulfillment for yourself and within your relationships.

The personal work is essential - and - it only goes so far. Learning to live relationally - with our partners, children, family, workmates, friends, and community - is the most sacred life work. We start with personal work and apply it to your relationships . I am committed to this as the most transformative work we can do together. Your biggest pay forward is ending generational wounds and learning to live as a wise, centered adult. I am here to support you in this life-changing process.

I found yoga 20 + years ago and it was the 'spiritual fit' I was seeking that allowed me to explore my mind and learn how to love and live in my body. I dove deep into yogic study and have pioneered the merge of Yoga for Mental Health and Wellbeing professionally and as a faculty contributor for Yoga Medicine where I’ve also developed and facilitated content on Grief, Burnout and Resilience, and Teacher Connection programs.

I can help you with: Anxiety, Self-Doubt, Depression, Grief, Stress, Burnout, Transitions, Growth & Resilience, Motivation, Focus, ADHD, Productivity and Performance, and Life Purpose

I live close to the sea in Virginia Beach, VA with my spouse Omar and silly 'lil sheepadoodle (sheepdog/poodle) Luca. My favorite things to do are travel, stand-up paddle, eat farm-to-table food, and take a bike ride on my cruiser.
